Release of Eat Rich & The Green Door Show
After months of recording and busting serious ass, we have released Eat Rich out into the world!
All recording was done ourselves over the course of three months. This is our first full-length album since The Bird The Bridge The Wire was released in 2020.
To celebrate this occasion, we playing our first show at The Green Door in Lansing Friday, June 5, 2026.
Doors open at 7:00pm, music starts at 8:00pm. We strongly encourage you to show up ready for loud guitars, questionable banter, and supportive friends smoking outside the venue.

Loud Guitars, Big Drums, & Catchy Songs
Jenn’s Apartment is a Lansing, Michigan rock power trio making loud, hook-heavy songs with ringing guitars, big harmonies, and a tight rhythm section. Our sound pulls from ’90s alternative, early 2000s punk, and emo, with a DIY, analog-minded approach to recording songs.
The band was formed in 2004 by songwriter and guitarist Roy Kirby. Then, came back in 2014 with bassist Chris Davis and drummer Justin Pine. Since then, we’ve released EPs and full-length records, played shows around Michigan, built our own studio, and continued our lifelong commitment to making music that sounds big while still being made by three dudes who think fart jokes are a valid form of band chemistry.
The music is catchy, upbeat, and built to hit hard live, while the lyrics dig into real-life messes like divorce, addiction, bad decisions, and learning things the hard way. It is honest without being miserable, fun without being dumb, and loud without losing the point.
For fans of The Replacements, Gaslight Anthem, Gin Blossoms, Goo Goo Dolls, Green Day, Blink-182, Alkaline Trio, and The Get Up Kids, this is a Lansing rock concert worth putting on your calendar.
