Hey! Welcome to Jenn’s Apartment. We like loud music and shitty jokes. We don’t vibe with creeping on your personal data. This privacy policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Who we are
Our website address is: https://jennsapartment.net
Contact: jennsapartmentband@gmail.com
What data we collect and why
Orders (WooCommerce store stuff)
When you place an order, we collect the info needed to process it, like:
- Name, billing/shipping address
- Email + phone (if provided)
- What you purchased
- Payment confirmation info (not your full card number)
We use this to:
- Fulfill your order
- Send order updates
- Handle refunds/support
- Keep records for accounting/taxes
Payments
Payments are processed by third-party processors (for example, Stripe and/or PayPal, depending on your selection at checkout). They handle your full payment details in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Print-on-demand fulfillment
Some items are fulfilled by a print-on-demand production partner (like Printful) so they can print and ship your merch. To do that, we share only what’s necessary:
- Your name
- Shipping address
- Email (sometimes, for shipping updates)
- The item(s) ordered
They use that information only to fulfill your order.
Account info (if you create an account)
If you register on our site, we store the info you provide in your user profile. You can view/edit most of it anytime.
Comments
If you leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also your IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you use it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is here: https://automattic.com/privacy/
After approval, your profile picture may be visible publicly next to your comment.
Media uploads
If you upload images to the site, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors may be able to download and extract that data.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep the site working and make it less annoying to use.
Comments cookies
If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These last for one year.
Login cookies

When you log in, we set cookies to save your login info and display preferences:
- Login cookies last two days
- Screen options cookies last one year
- “Remember Me” keeps you logged in for two weeks
Logging out removes login cookies.
Editor cookie
If you edit/publish an article, a cookie is saved that indicates the post ID. It expires after one day.
Embedded content from other websites
Some pages may include embedded content (videos, images, etc.). Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other site directly. Those sites may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction.
Who we share your data with
We share data only when needed to run the site and fulfill orders, such as:
- Payment processors (e.g., Stripe/PayPal)
- Fulfillment/shipping partners (e.g., Printful and shipping carriers)
- Spam detection services (for comments)
- Service providers that keep the site running (hosting, email delivery)
If you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
- Comments and metadata may be retained indefinitely to help approve follow-ups automatically
- Orders are kept for administrative, legal, and accounting reasons
- Accounts store profile info until you edit/delete it (except usernames generally can’t be changed)
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account or have left comments, you can request:
- An exported file of the personal data we hold about you
- Deletion of your personal data
This does not include data we must keep for administrative, legal, or security reasons.
To request this, email: jennsapartmentband@gmail.com
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top. If it’s a big change, we’ll do our best to make it obvious (like a loud guitar riff, but legally).
