About Jenn’s Apartment
Formed in 2014, Jenn’s Apartment is a high-energy Lansing rock band that has captivated audiences across Michigan for ten years. Known for their guitar-driven sound and infectious live performances, the band has become a staple in the Michigan music scene. They’ve played at venues such as The Avenue, Mac’s Bar, The Loft, The Temple Club, and Grewal Hall. The trio featuring Roy Kirby (vocals/guitar), Chris Davis (bass), and Justin Pine (drums) has released over sixty songs.
Their sound is perfect for fans of 90’s alternative rock and early 2000s pop-punk. They blend catchy melodies with raw lyrics that tackle themes like drug dealing, divorce, and self-discovery. One of the hardest-working bands in Lansing, Jenn’s Apartment has always embraced a DIY ethos, building their own studio and producing their own music. This 10th-anniversary show is a celebration of their journey as a Lansing rock band, and excited to bring the party to Grand Rapids!
