About Jenn’s Apartment
Formed in 2014, Jenn’s Apartment is a high-energy Lansing rock band that has been captivating audiences for ten years. Known for their guitar-driven sound and infectious live performances, the band has become a staple in the Lansing music scene. They’ve played at venues such as The Avenue, Mac’s Bar, The Loft, The Temple Club, and Grewal Hall, among others. The group, featuring Roy Kirby (vocals/guitar), Chris Davis (bass), and Justin Pine (drums), has released over sixty songs to date. Additionally, their tight, energetic sound is perfect for fans of 90’s alternative and early 2000s pop-punk, but their music stands out with its raw lyrics and unforgettable melodies.
As one of the hardest-working rock bands in Lansing, Jenn’s Apartment embraces the DIY attitude in everything we do. The 10th-anniversary show is a celebration of our journey as a Lansing rock band.

Ritual Suns – Ritual Suns is a gritty, swampy, and soulful rock band. Their sound, compared to Soundgarden, Shinedown, and The Black Keys, blends blues, rock, and soul, and has made them a staple in the Lansing rock and Detroit rock scenes.
HOMES – HOMES is a four-piece Detroit rock band that began in Kalamazoo before settling in the southeast Michigan area. Their debut album, “Huron,” released in 2023, showcases their indie rock sound. Now focusing on live shows and their next album, HOMES is ready to bring their unique style to the Detroit stage.
The History of The Old Miami
Founded in 1979, The Old Miami is a historic venue in the Detroit rock scene. Originally established as a gathering place for Vietnam veterans, it quickly became a hotspot for live music in the Cass Corridor. Additionally, The Old Miami has hosted legendary acts like Iggy Pop, Jack White, and The White Stripes, cementing its status as one of Detroit’s most iconic music venues.
For over 40 years, The Old Miami has been a cultural landmark, offering a stage for both emerging and established Detroit rock bands. Known as “The C.B.G.B.’s of the Midwest,” this venue has become a symbol of the city’s resilient and raw spirit. It’s the perfect place for Jenn’s Apartment, a hardworking Lansing rock band, to celebrate 10 years of rocking shows around the state of Michigan.
